The Wilson Clash 100 Tour tennis racquet is a revolutionary racquet in multiple respects. The Clash 100 Tour came about thanks to “3 different ideas that didn’t work on their own” that were blended together into one racquet. Wilson has introduced two new technologies with the Clash - StableSmart and Freeflex powered by Carbon Mapping. It is by using these technologies that Wilson created both a stable and flexible racquet frame. Wilson has engineered StableSmart technology into the Clash 100 Tour giving it extreme stability and feel, even with a relatively thin beamed frame (24.5 mm). The only other frames that are more flexible than the Clash line would be the wooden racquets of old. The flexibility of the frame gives it excellent feel and touch thanks to its superb ball-pocketing. FreeFlex, which is powered by carbon mapping, allows the Tour's frame to bend and react to the ball in all new ways allowing for better ball feel and ball pocketing.
